Multi-AID - MultiBus Diagnostics
Actia is responsible for the development, design and control of the electrical power management architecture of thousands of vehicles in service and many hundreds produced each year from Alexander, Optare and Plaxton.
Multi-AID diagnostics gives unrivalled access to the MultiBus electrical system to identify stored faults, view and control I/O status, adjust parameters, as well as download, configure and view the network layout . The effective use of this diagnostic tool enables to reduce downtime and get vehicles back on the road fast.
Whether you are an experienced auto-electrician or making your first steps into diagnostics, Multi-AID combines ease and speed of use to deliver results fast. The vehicles systems are displayed graphically on screen, showing the location and inter-connection of Electronic Control Units (ECU). A simple menu guides the user through all the vehicle systems, making accurate and fast diagnostics possible in just a few clicks.
One Tool - Multiple functions
Applying Actia’s wide experience of diagnostic software and hardware, we can offer the comprehensive Multi-AID kit to diagnose numerous vehicle systems including MultiBUS and Aladin.
All of the above applications are Compatible through our single communications interface, when used with a suitable laptop or tablet PC , providing rapid diagnostics of the vehicle’s major systems. This eliminates the need for several ECU interfaces, reducing costs and bringing all your diagnostic tools into one low cost, easy to use package.
To compliment MultiAid we can also supply Cummins Insite and Voith if required.
Remote Diagnostics
The future of diagnostics is here today with optional remote diagnostics available today through the Actia Telematics platform. New technology is driving fleet management forward: with remote access to the vehicles electrical system as if you were connected by cable, the bus operators can monitor the electrical status of their vehicles and fix problems from the comfort of their office.
This facility enables the fleet and workshop manager to schedule workshop time more efficiently, and avoid vehicles going out on the road with undetected faults. If call outs are required, the remote diagnostics will help identify the issue and what potential parts may be needed to ensure you call out the right man with the right parts.
